An American Entrepreneur, Business Coach, Philanthropist, Angel Investor, and Prominent Thought Leader on economic empowerment and financial dignity, Craigen, born on September 4, 1984, in Hernando, MS, learned his lessons on money early in life. He recognized that if you don’t understand money, you’re essentially enslaved, and that being part of a capitalist system and not knowing the rules, or how things work, means that you aren’t included. In large part he owes his early awareness to his parents. “I may not have a PHD, but I have a CS (common sense) Degree is what mom would tell me, you gotta always put something back, he says. “The fact that my dad gave his life to a full time job and grew a small business simultaneously was the best example of dedication and hard work” that 30 years gave me a real example of entrepreneurism—so through them I had a sense of both, with Christ anything is possible, and The same price doesn’t have to be paid twice.” An athlete from childhood, Craigen’s passion for Financial Literacy was triggered by The Economic Meltdown of 2008. While working as a Network Engineer at AT&T, he watched many people lose their jobs, along with his parents, but in a larger spectrum he would represent an movement beyond what was typical in Craigen’s own reality. From that day, Craigen has been involved in Business Ownership and Financial Empowerment, starting his first venture at the age of 23 yrs old with a modest $124 investment.
